RCB Tour Series

Several years ago, Terry proposed a ride to Morro Bay in May to ride Hwy 1 along the Central Coast. For most of us Hwy 1 is a part of California less traveled because one must slog through the Central Valley, East Bay and South Bay to get there. The plan was to leave Friday morning, stay at the Morro Crest motel, have Saturday open for folks to do as they please, and ride home Sunday. Craft beer, central coast wine and good seafood also were on the agenda for individual or group dinner. 

The ride was a success and has been on the calendar for most years since. As for the plan to ride Hwy 1, let’s say we had to get creative because landslides resulted in closure of Hwy 1 in all but one year from memory.

Not this year! We look forward to riding Hwy 1 to Morro Bay. And, don't forget the kite festival.
