RCB is heading back to Camp Richardson August 14-16.

RCB will provide dinner Friday and Saturday, and something to munch on Saturday morning. (The answer to the question you have not asked yet is yes.) You are on your own for other meals. I suggest bringing your own coffee making stuff if you want coffee early (but store it in a bear box).

For those who have not participated before it is possible for a bear to wander through. Bears are only interested in food, not you, so anything that could possibly be considered food should be stored in a bear box, not in your tent or saddlebags. We adhere to this rule strictly and have not had a problem.

A beach is walking distance from the campground if you want to lounge lakeside, or you could have lunch and a Rum Runner at the Beacon (I know it’s called something else now but it always will be the Beacon for me). There also are hiking and bicycle trails close by for those more ambitious.

Please sign up by clicking the button on the Event Calendar as participation is limited to 25 people and it helps us plan the food. If you are not going to attend after registering, please cancel so someone else can take your place.

We have campsites reserved in Badger’s Den, Cedar Loop. Please do not arrive at the campsites before 3 pm on Friday which is soon after we can register / check in.

The co-pay for the weekend is $40.00 per person.
