It's that time of the year again for the 4th annual Spring Classic at the Trinity KOA. Please join us as we tour the beautiful Trinity Alps. This ride boasts some of the best motorcycle roads California has to offer. We will be staying at the Trinity KOA once again. Tent camping fees will be a $5 per night/per person co-pay. If tent camping isn't your style, the Trinity KOA has very nice cabins available with rates starting at $122 for a one bedroom and $135 for the two bedroom before tax. Please call 530-266-3337 to make reservations to get the RCB discount for your cabin. A chili feed will be provided on Saturday night. Please sign up below so we can get a headcount. Look forward to seeing everyone there!

Hey RCB members!
The Trinity campout is almost upon us! As of today, we show about 7 folks makin the trip. There is a chili feed planned for Sat. and we need to know how many of you folks are planning on coming up. If we don't have the number nailed down and it is only 7 or so folks I don't want Cyndy and Rick to go to all the work in preparing a meal. Sooooooo, I'm, beggin ya, if you plan on attending please post and let us know.

Please post time to depart, Flying in LATE on Thursday from LA office. Im trying to make it, honest..put me down anyway...if I dont make it, Ill pay for tent spot anyway...Im sure someone can fit a couple more bowels of chili in? Sorry , bowls ( damn spell check)

The ride is 265 miles, and will take about 6 hours or so, with stops.

My favorite way to get there is 36 to Wildwood Rd to 3.

If anyone tries to ride Forest Servest Route 1 I'd like to hear about conditions.

Looks like the weather is going to be extremely cooperative this weekend. Should make for some great riding. For those wanting to caravan up, hook up with Captain Ken. I'll be leaving separately with the wife and kiddies in the Expedition in tow. Look forward to seeing everyone this weekend!

THAT WAS A GREAT WEEKEND!!! MANY THANKS TO CINDY FOR ALL HER HARD WORK (AND TO RICK FOR STAYING OUT OF HER WAY!). PERFECT WEATHER, COLD BEER, GREAT RIDES, AND FANTASTIC CHILI. DEFINITELY AN EVENT TO REMEMBER AND TRY TO DUPLICATE AGAIN NEXT YEAR.

I made it home. The tow truck showed about 11am and hauled us to Batteries Plus in Redding. I swapped out the bad battery and made it home by 5. Could have been a lot worse. I'd like to thank everyone who helped me, in particular Ray, Mike, Rick and Rick B. Also Cyndy for the great Chilli and Blueberry cobbler. Had great weekend even with the battery troubles.

Ricky and I saw the tow truck Steve. You actually beat us home. We went home via 44 towards Lassen. Stunning scenery and great roads. Glad it all worked out.
