Brake line replacement.

Postby RocklinMike » Tue Feb 24, 2015 7:02 pm

Ok, I knew it was inevitable. 14 yr. old bike with the pos oem brake lines. Had one of the front lines spring a leak 100 miles from the casa. Had to ride home old school. Rear brake only. Not too bad, but the front brake woulda been nice. Didn't slow me up much, only had one butt puckering moment. Have Spieglers on the way. Bottom line, if you've got old lines, do a pre emptive strike and CHANGE THEM SO YOU DON'T DIE. REALLY! I knew it was coming.

MIIIKKKKEEEE! For the record, for yuz & the rest of the minions, A&S will match online prices of non OEM stuff if it's a supplier they use. I did my rear rotor & pads after spotted at last Fall's tech day. Got BRAKES rotor & pads from A&S for about half of OEM.

Mike, you have more experience with brake lines than anyone else I know. Everyone should take your well-earned advise.
