On Wednesday we ride to dinner and on Saturday we ride to breakfast. Those and any other rides are coordinated and (sometimes) reported here.

RCB MEMORIAL POKER RUN June 3

Postby jack » Mon May 22, 2017 5:46 pm

This is a reminder of the RCB Memorial Poker Run in honor of RCB members we have lost. The poker run will be the club ride, following the member meeting on Saturday, June 3. Capt. Ken has volunteered to put a route together with other volunteers. You can ride the poker run route on your own, or grab some buddies and go as a group after signing up.

The poker run will end at the BBQ picnic, Rope Swing Event, at Mike Ledbetter’s home. Mike has a large swimming pond (which can be entered via rope), volleyball court, etc. that is perfect to gather after the poker run so bring some shorts to change into.

There will be a 50/50, and poker run prizes for those that buy a poker hand. Poker hands are $5.00 each, and you can buy as many as you want. Sign up will be at A&S after b'fast. Not sure what all of the poker run prizes will be, but there will be a $150 off coupon for service at A & S, 4 River Cats tickets with parking (about $220.00+), a bottle of good Cabernet ($50+), etc.

We hope you will participate in honor of those we have lost, and for fun of course.

Reminder you can sign up for the poker run at A&S after the member meeting at Susie's.

Route sheets will be handed out at A&S. If you bring a cable, we will try to download the GPS route onto your GPS unit.

Many thanks to those who participated. As I had to leave Mike's early, I am dying to know who won the prizes and the 50/50.

Special thanks to Mike for being our host, Ken for putting the route together, Marv and Steve for signing people up, and Gordy for dealing the cards.
