5 Passes 2012

On Wednesday we ride to dinner and on Saturday we ride to breakfast. Those and any other rides are coordinated and (sometimes) reported here.

5 Passes 2012

Postby ken » Tue Oct 09, 2012 11:53 am

This year's 5 Passes will be a mixture of some past routes - Carson, Luther, Johnson, Donner, and Daggett - with a few that may not be official passes, but I'm counting them anyway! For example, Mt. Rose, Geiger Grade, and Mormon Emigrant seem like passes to me.

Note that this is a preliminary version of the route, and may be tweaked as late as Saturday night, so check back Saturday night for the latest version.

You can download the route info here.

Ken, this looks like a great ride!

The Event Calendar says it may be a two-day ride, but from the route that you posted, it's just Sunday, right?

It's just Sunday. I've corrected the Event Calendar.

Ken, Ridemaster Extraordinaire,

First...Thank you for selecting such a great day to do the 5 Passes. The weather was perfect, the traffic was light, and the roads were free of sand, gravel, and debris, with plenty of purchase. :D

Second...Thank you for developing and leading us on your adventurous route. It was a blast!

Ken, the ride was a ton of fun, the roads were amazing! I really enjoyed hanging out with folks yesterday at breakfast and lunch also, just a great day.
