Thursday morning rides?

On Wednesday we ride to dinner and on Saturday we ride to breakfast. Those and any other rides are coordinated and (sometimes) reported here.

Thursday morning rides?

Postby ol' g » Tue May 24, 2011 9:20 pm

At one of the evening rides earlier this month, I was told a tale of spirited Beemer rides that take place on Thursday mornings. What does one need to do or have to get invited to one of these "rips"? I'll buy the coffee and donuts..........

Hey, Rick,

Just show up at Brookfield's on Folsom Blvd near Sunrise Thursday at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast. We ride at 9:00 or so...

Thanks guys, that was some rip! Too bad we couldn't find some roads with some really good "twisties".....maybe next time. Special thanks to Ken for leading a spirited ride. He had most of us believing he knew where he was going. I didn't know if we were ever lost at any time, but but Frank and I had to keep him in sight or we would have been lost.

Shiny side up!

You will learn this on the second or third "Ken" ride, but he has some special arrangement and paid additional for a special GPS feature that finds the *least* direct route between two points. We're not sure how many programmers it took nor how much he paid but all of us are pretty much in awe of that GPS' capability!
