We will be leaving A&S at 6:00 AM SHARP on Saturday May 14 and heading to Beaver, UT. We will be staying over night at the Best Western there - call Gilbert at 435 438 2438 to get a rate of $60 for the room, mention the River City Beemers. Fred, if I'm in town and not dropping shovels or bubble wrap off in some beautiful sandy clime, I'm in. If I need to pay before hand for the IBA and gamble on being here or not, I can definitely do that, then pay more for the hotel or whatnot if I AM able to go.

Sounds like a great time, I'll just have to remember to pack the extra large bottle of ibuprofen...

I should know within the next couple weeks whether or not I can do this one. Still trying to sort through BMWNA and whether or not I'll actually have a bike to do this on. On a positive, the bike is actually here in MY garage and not at the shop right now. Of course, the weather has been so bad that I can't tell you if it actually works or not either. I guess we'll see this weekend with any luck.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am going to have to postpone this ride for another day. I am unable to lead this ride and be the certifier for the group at this time, but I am preparing to try it again in the fall. You can always do a BB1500 any time you like as prescribed in the IBA rules; you just have to do all the documentation yourself instead of in a group setting where one person is the certifier. Sorry about this, but we'll definitely be doing it in the not - too - distant future. Stay tuned.
