A Jewel in the Hills

On Wednesday we ride to dinner and on Saturday we ride to breakfast. Those and any other rides are coordinated and (sometimes) reported here.

A Jewel in the Hills

Grand Master Caruthers found a jewel near Georgetown. This was a pleasantly nice restaurant.

"Another new destination this week: Camp Virner Restaurant on Wentworth Springs Rd is the plan. (Yes, that Wentworth Springs, but it's only a little ways from Georgetown, and should take less than an hour)
According to reviews, they serve good Italian, German, and American food."

It was the hottest day of the year when we left the Coffee Republic but as we traveled up the hill the heat dissipated and we had a very comfortable ride up Salmon Falls Rd to Coloma and Marshall Grade then down Wentworth Springs Rd to the restaurant. It was just about a 1 hour ride and the food and astmosphere were most enjoyable.

This restaurant will be our destination again in the near future.
