On Wednesday we ride to dinner and on Saturday we ride to breakfast. Those and any other rides are coordinated and (sometimes) reported here.

Rider Skills Improvement Day

Postby ken » Fri Jun 11, 2010 5:39 pm

For the 15th year in a row, the River City Beemers BMW Motorcycle club is hosting a Rider Skills Improvement Day. This year's event will be on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Thunderhill Raceway Park near Willows, California.
Participation is limited to members and friends of members of BMW Motorcycle clubs riding any street legal, licensed, insured and quiet motorcycle. No race bikes. No race-modified mufflers.

There are three levels of participation:
  • Entry - Beginner or first time/conservative track riders start here and move up during the day. Separate classes and track sessions. Instruction available all day.
  • Intermediate - For the experienced rider with limited or no track experience. Provides a balance of track and class time.
  • Advanced Class - Skilled riders on a sterile track for most of the day - Instruction provided upon request only.
For more information, see http://www.rcbthunderhill.org/

We expect this event to fill up, so don't wait!
Eat. Ride. Repeat.

... and if you're one of the jokers who waited to the last minute to book rooms and ended up with nothing (like one or two may have done in Yerington <sigh>), rest assured that the Travelodge still has rooms at the Thunderhill rate of $65 - That's better than AAA!

Members,

The hard riding BMW roadrunners. This should be an excellent (with the best conditions one could with for) track day. Part will be seeing you for beer on Saturday nite. And the rest, the bike will take care of. Be there. And the ST.
