SS 1000 to MOA in SLC

Postby PeterS » Fri May 12, 2017 4:19 pm

Anyone interested in doing a Saddle Sore 1000 to the BMW SLC rally in July?
The idea is to leave on the 12th from A&S around 4 am and arrive into SLC that night. The route so far is through Reno, up to Boise, over to Idaho Falls and then down to SLC. According to Google maps, total miles is approx 1020 and time is approx 15 to 16 hours.
Ride at your own pace, stop when you want, ride alone or with someone that rides similar to you and use this ride as the entry into the Iron Butt Association. Cost to join the Iron Butt Assoc depends on how many riders there are and ranges from $41 to $45.
If we can get 10 riders, the cost to join is slightly lower at $41, the rules are modified and a little easier and the application process is supposed to be a little quicker.
Anyone interested, let me know.
Pete

Come on riders and sign up for the SS1000 to the MOA in Salt Lake City!! Just need a couple more (8 to be exact!!) to obtain the lower cost and easier paperwork requirements and we will head north through Idaho where it is certain to be cooler than this weekend (dont think it could get worse).
